My 1 year old loves this book. She loves looking at all the faces and waves at the kids. This book is affirming Shades of Old Chaparaal book a perfect illustration of the physical diversity of blackness. My only issue is the image of the child with "long hair" her hair looks pressed/permed and Cited by: 1.
